In my lifetime: Panama, Grenada, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Libya, Pakistan, Somalia and on and on…some of them multiple times!
Pretty sure all of those are smaller than the USA. And they’re not even next door.
Yet more proof that elective politics in the USA is a pure numbers game and not a meritocracy.
