The Homeland Security thing is a bit of particularly, offensively divisive, racist, ethnocentric, identity politics nonsense. This is especially true given how most “Latinos” are viewed by the US Census.
It is racist & ethnocentric to refer to the next person who hold officially heads that Department as anything other than simply the SEVENTH Secretary of Homeland Security and we will have not just made no progress in having done so, but actually regressed significantly.
This is a position that has only exited since 2003!
It isn’t like this is an office with hundreds of years of “systemic racism” and “oppression” under its belt!
In the whopping 17 years we have even had this office/department, between the actual and acting Secretaries - this agency has been headed by one of the most “diverse” array of QUALIFIED _AMERICANS_.
We must call out the mainstream, legacy propaganda...I mean “media” when they continue to needlessly shove this divisive and self-perpetuating racist drivel down our throats.
John Kerry, the former secretary of state, will be the climate czar, signaling the new administration’s commitment to fighting climate change.
