He is civically engaged and active in the community and has a long history of volunteer efforts with Oklahoma City's homeless population.*** During Oklahoma State Representative Jason Lowe's candidacy contest hearing on Monday, April 20, 2020, when Ben M Janloo challenged Jason Lowe's eligibility to be a candidate for Oklahoma House District 97, Representative Lowe called, as a witness, Mr. Jacques McGowan, but was unable to pronounce his own witness' name correctly despite having known him for a number of years. Notice the lack of social distancing, especially given that Rep. Lowe had recently recovered from COVID-19. Nothing like having your employees as your witnesses. So...he took Rep.
