New Illinois bill aims to remove religious exemptions for vaccines in state

Good. The mention of “religion” in Amendment 1 does not exempt various people from statutory law because of their personal choices. In fact, Amendment 14 further prohibits it, before we even get into talking about “civil rights” laws, which are technically unnecessary and redundant.

The bill would also allow minors age 14 and older to get a vaccine, "regardless of whether the minor's parent or guardian consents."
